About

I'm an IAM and IT engineer with 10 years of experience at fast-growing tech companies. I like building things end to end — designing the solution, proposing the architecture and rollout phases, partnering with affected teams early so nothing lands as a surprise, and seeing it through to a clean handoff. I get a lot of satisfaction from that full arc.

Most of my work lives at the intersection of security and employee experience. The best identity systems are the ones people don't notice — where the right access is just there, provisioned automatically, revoked cleanly, and auditable without friction. I've led programs like Okta Authentication Policy overhauls, Passkey and YubiKey rollouts, and the adoption of tools like Material Security and Opal, and I enjoy owning that kind of work from first proposal through to the day it becomes business as usual.

Most recently I was a Security Engineer on the Identity team at GitLab. Before that, I spent six years at Faire helping scale IT from a one-person shop to a team of 15 as the company grew from 120 to 1,000+ employees — and that kind of build-it-from-nothing challenge is something I'd happily do again.

Currently taking some intentional downtime and exploring what's next.
